Fiber Artist / Sculptor

I have always been creative and interested in art. As early as my Junior High days I chose to pursue an education and career in art. I attended Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA. where I experimented with drawing, painting, pottery, weaving, glass blowing and printmaking. It was at Kutztown that I discovered my love for sculpture,  weaving, and working with fibers. I graduated Cum Laude from Kutztown University in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Majoring in Crafts, Concentration in Fibers.

I currently use an 8 Harness Counterbalance Loom, as well as an Inkle Loom and Rigid Heddle Loom that I built myself. I use knotting and twining techniques for my fiber sculptures. Because of my love for many different types of textures in my artwork, I use many unusual fibers such as: caution tape and metal chain in my weavings and sculptures.
